Mobile app for Facile626, a restaurant workplace-safety and HACCP service — it puts course enrollment, documents, inspections, HACCP registers and daily fridge-temperature logging in the hands of restaurant owners, with a clear read on their compliance level.
Safety in Your Hands
Facile626 is a workplace-safety and HACCP service for the restaurant world, run by Savesafe — a consultancy with more than a decade in the field. The brief for the app was its own tagline, “la sicurezza a portata di mano”: take a paper-heavy, anxiety-inducing set of legal obligations and make them something a restaurant owner can actually manage from a phone.
Safety and food-hygiene compliance in an Italian restaurant is a constant, low-grade pressure. There are mandatory courses to keep current, documents to hold, inspections to log, HACCP registers to maintain, fridge temperatures to record day after day — and, behind all of it, the risk of a sanction if something is missing when a check arrives. Most of that traditionally lives on paper, in a binder, in a back office. The app’s job was to move it onto the device and make the current state obvious at a glance.
The home screen is the whole obligation set, laid out as a small grid: communications, course enrollment (iscrizione ai corsi), training and certificates, documents, on-site inspections (sopralluoghi) and registers. It opens on a simple “Benvenuto, nome azienda” and gives the owner one place to see what needs attention. Communications surface timely alerts and best-practice guidance; the training tiles let an owner enroll employees in the mandatory safety and HACCP courses and pull down their certificates directly, without chasing a consultant.
The most fully developed flow is HACCP fridge-temperature monitoring, the kind of daily ritual that is easy to skip and expensive to skip. The app models it end to end: pick the local unit, see the list of its fridges, open a fridge and register a reading. The reading screen is deliberately tactile — a thermometer dial that shows the recorded value, a picker to set it, and a confirm. Over time those readings become a trend chart of andamento rilevazioni, and the whole register can be exported to PDF for an inspection or an audit. Adding a fridge, naming it and removing it are all part of the same loop.
Around that, the worker-management side handles the people: a directory of lavoratori, detail views, and the flows to add, edit, confirm or remove a worker, each tied back to the training and documents they need. The two halves — things (fridges, registers, documents) and people (workers, courses, certificates) — share one visual language built around the red Facile626 shield, so the app reads as a single tool rather than a bundle of modules.
What ties it together is the compliance read-out: a clear indication of where the restaurant stands and how much sanction risk it carries. That framing is the point of the product — not just digitizing forms, but turning a diffuse legal obligation into a status an owner can act on. Shipped on iOS and Android, Facile626 is a small, focused compliance companion that keeps safety and HACCP within reach during service, not filed away for later.
